Montana’s natural beauty is undeniable, yet our state faces a critical mental health challenge—consistently holding the highest suicide rate in the U.S. The Montana Psychiatric Association (MPA) is committed to addressing this crisis by supporting, encouraging, and expanding psychiatric opportunities across the state. Our top priority is meeting the needs of our members and strengthening Montana’s psychiatric workforce. 

Our mission is to bridge the gap between skilled psychiatrists and organizations dedicated to improving mental health in Montana. By fostering strong connections between these professionals and local organizations, we aim to strengthen the mental health workforce and support the well-being of communities across the state.  

As the mental health field continues to evolve, MPA remains steadfast in promoting the value, expertise, and proficiency of psychiatrists. We advocate for our members, provide essential resources, and foster a strong professional network to help psychiatrists thrive in their careers.
